I had a follow up visit via telehealth. Because of distance and other health issues, I wasn't able to be seen in office. It was a very helpful visit. Grateful to Dr. Sharma and her assistant Maria for addressing my care in a timely and compassionate way.

I first met Dr. Sharma several years ago after developing severe lumbosacral pain, diagnosis disc disease and spinal stenosis. I had been a caregiver to a family member and had moved from Radnor to Philadelphia. I stopped regular following ups because of time and distance. But I continued to follow her treatment advice. When I developed persistent upper back pain, I was so grateful to learn that she was still in practice at Rothman! Every visit I have had with Dr. Saloni Sharma has given me hope, motivation and a workable plan. She finds the root cause of the problem, explains treatments and potential outcomes. She has been forthright and honest. Her kindness, empathy and insight gives me confidence that there is a way forward. And the results are largely up to me. I can change small things that help pain and mobility. She is the guide and coach in keeping me safe as I make progress. It was so to see her friendly and always smiling medical assistant Maria, who is still… working with Dr Sharma. The front desk and call center were all great to deal with. For the first time, I'm looking forward to learning more about nutrition, emotional and stress management for help with what has developed into challenging life-altering orthopedic and rheumatic issues. I was just diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis eight months ago. I can see that so much will apply to helping me live better overall. These are lifetime issues, and learning to see things in a fresh light, accepting this and looking forward to live with more confidence is possible. At this time, I have now ddd of each spinal level,, spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, osteo and rheumatoid arthritis, and have developed upoer and lower neuropathy as a result of nerve impingement. I can see how stress triggers more inflammation and pain flares. My goal is to stay active, using PT, exercise and the least medication possible. I've begun re-reading Dr.Sharma's 2022 book "The Pain Solution," truly finding her words of encouragement and creativity inspiring. I have confidence in her as a doctor and person of integrity. This was my 3 rd visit with Dr Sharma for herniated discs and sciatica , Dr Sharma is very knowledgeable and very caring , spends time with her patients and explains care plan in detail .

Dr Sharma listens well to you, presents options and recommendations and lets you make the final decision and I really like that in the doctor. I would hesitate to recommend her to any of my family or friends
