Dr. Salvatore Domenic Diloreto

This man probably saved my life! Had a stent placed yesterday, he said I wouldn't have leg pain walking any more. Guess what, I don't! Tested it today, doing a walk I have done before. Needed a ten minute rest a bit more than half way through. Today, I didn't have to stop! He is wonderful and made me realize that the smoking has to stop. I hope he reads this, I am so greatful! And I did not have a long wait either to see him(even as a new patient), or at the actual appointment. Staff was wonderful, both at the first appointment and at surgery. Lovely, caring people. If I ever have another problem, he will be my first choice!

Dr. Diloreto was the doctor who placed stents in my clogged arteries. I was brought to Baptist Hospital in San Marco after having a heart attack. Of course I don't remember anything about the procedure as they had sedated me. I was out of the hospital in three days. I have had several visits to his office and as noted in the other review it is not a completely good experience. Long wait times past your appointment time, more time once in the examination room. His nurses and aids are about average. As I am now 66 years of age I have quite a history with doctors and have to say they are all about the same when it comes to being personable and taking a real interest in you. The more patients they push through their office, the more money they get. And, while I know it takes a lot of money to run a medical practice as large as this one I must say; there is a reason I shop at Publix - because everybody acts like they care. A little of the Publix customer care would come in handy… at this office. One last thing, my wife visited Dr. Diloretto a couple months ago and when he found out she was my wife his comment was, "Oh, is he still alive". Does that give you confidence? I give him 3 stars.

I Arrived on time. Waited in front office 10 min. Nurse was prompt and polite. Put me in exam room and I waited an hour and 25 min. When the Dr. came in, there was no explanation or apology for the delay. There was minimal exam. He just put the stethoscope on my back and never spoke to me.As he turned to leave the exam room I ask if I should be having another Stress test as it has been over a year? He turned and said I'll let you know when. I had seen him 2 times before having been referred by my primary physician because of my history of a stroke. He had previously told me I should have a stress test annually. I was stunned and shocked at his lack of interest in my health care and lack of professionalism. He showed no concern and barely communicated with me. Somewhere along the line he's totally forgotten the oath he took. I wouldn't recommend him nor will I ever go back to this rude and indignant doctor!!
