Dr. Salvatore Lococo, MD

Dr. Lococo was a great doc for my mom. Saved her life when her previous doc said she'd be lucky to live 3 months. 10 years later she's still here thanks to Dr. Lococo! Unfortunately for us, he moved back to Texas and now we are left without this great doc.

Dr. L saved my mom! Many thanks to him & his staff. She is still alive 9 years later because of him!!! After a horrible experience with Dr. Hodel who told her she had 3-4 months to live (at best), I insisted we get a second opinion. We were blessed to get Dr. Lococo. He treated her like a family member, looked her in the eye and talked to her with compassion & care. He told her he could take care of her and he did. The surgery for uterine cancer was a success and she lived to see another 9 years so far! We can't thank Dr. Lococo enough for all that he did for her!

This is long overdue-I apologize to the Dr and his wonderful staff. I had my hysterectomy in sept of 2016. Removal of football size ovarian cyst.. thank god it turned out to be benign. Along with along with other small cysts. Thanks you ALL- for your surgical talent , your wonderful staff at your office and at the hospital ( OSF) where I had my surgery....I am physical fully recovered. Thank you again.....Maureen Bridge and husband Kelly.

Dr Lo was my doctor for two years he is a great surgeon and has excellent skills!! We will miss him dearly as he is moving back to Texas. Peoria is definitely going to miss him!! Peoria needs to get some doctors ASAP!!!

He did my hysterectomy and was wonderful. He cares about his patients and made sure I was not in pain and that I had all the time off I needed to recover. He put me at ease and has a calming sense about him. He is also very friendly and his staff are amazing as well.

I was treated like a drug seeker when I returned with uncontrolled pain. I felt as if he couldn't wait to get rid of me as I wasn't his patient but rather someone else's problem. I wentered from a fentanyl pca to oral percocet with NO bridge and from a clear liquid diet to a general.diet again NO bridge. I have never been treated so badly in all my life.I was not a human being but rather an inconvenience.

Had a full hysterectomy with absolutely no pain or discomfort. In follow-up received a complete explanation on everything found (and not found). Staff was helpful and friendly.

While he was in TX, he treated my mom for uterine cancer. He performed a hysterectomy and said that nothing else needed to be done. Unfortunately my mother developed Alzheimer's and deteriored quickly. We later found out that my mother passed away.....and her uterus was still intact. His office here had quickly shut down and he relocated up north. I have no idea how this man is still in practice.

Upon receiving my medical records, I found out Dr. Lococo lied about my diagnosis. He performed an unnecessary hysterectomy that has made an awful impact on my everyday life. He canceled my followup appointments. Awful experience that I deeply, deeply regret.

He seams to always have a waiting room full because he is only in town 2 days a week , and has the nerve to just show up whatever time he wants. He has no regards for the fact that people even though they are sick have better things to do than just sit around a waiting room waiting for him to Grace us with his presence.
