Dr. Sam Adnan Borno, MD

Arrived to appointment and was taken into the room promptly, however I sat in the patient room for over 35 minutes. I thought I was being smart to be his first appointment after the lunch break, but I could hear him in his office talking on the phone with what sounded like a personal call. He then asked someone in his staff to bring him coffee and THEY proceeded to have a 15 min conversation about how stressed and tired he is. When he finally did come in to go over the testing I had completed previous to this appointment, he was in a rush because NOW he realized that he was behind schedule. He gave a very brief but confusing explanation of my results and when I asked him to please clarify a few things he became frustrated and said he had already explained it once, and I was just wasting his time by not paying attention the first time. I am not a medical professional and I don’t understand some of the medical terminology that he used so I was only asking for clarification of… those terms so I could understand my results. He called one of his staff members into the room in a bit of a huff and told her to explain it to me like I’m a five-year-old as he stormed out of the room. It was very belittling

Curantly dealing with blood clots in my lungs. He was the doctor That caught my heart failure and pneumonia, and so far has been good.

Arrived an hour early and was seen in 15 minutes. His assistant that we saw was very professional and answered all our questions. She double checked with the Doctor to verify my situation. The doctor was very polite and answered our questions. in a very good manor.

He doesn't believe in the use of Warfarin for the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation to prevent Strokes.

I had a couple of questions to ask. The doctor got upset and said I was wasting his time. I got upset and I complained to his stuff. They said he gets like that when he is stress out. I dropped him that same day.

Doctor Borno does not like his patients to asks questions. He told my mother that he had a busy practice and did not have time for such nonsense. He becomes very defensive very quickly when any question were posed. We left his office knowing about as much as before seeing him. He took a residency at a Psychiatric Hospital called CT Menninger Hospital in Kansas. I called them and confirmed that this was the only Rresidency available. Somehow, over the years, he changed his professional path and became a cardiologist. This is an unusual move according to other doctors I have spoken to. His Cardiology training is difficult to uncover or confirm. He does have a license to practice medicine in California.

A remarkably well educated, skilled, dedicated, and compassionate Physician.
