Dr.Buffer's bedside manner is exceptional! He makes you feel relaxed the entire time he is with you. I could not have chosen a better cardiologist. Being a nurse I was aware of what was going on with me and was quite nervous. Dr. Buffer put me at ease immediately. I am so thankful that I chose him. His staff is wonderful - I couldn't be happier!

One of the things I like best is that despite a very calm demeanor, he immediately focuses on a problem and does what is necessary to correct it. Once when I was in his office he correctly diagnosed a non-cardiac condition I was experiencing, and when I went to a specialist found that he had been absolutely right. I know he is terribly busy and I see him infrequently, but he always remembers what we last discussed, and comments on personal things he knows are important to me. I feel like he sees me as a person, not a heart condition. He makes me feel very safe. His staff on McKnight Road is wonderful. They are friendly and funny and very efficient, and I have never had an experience that was less than that. If you NEED a quick appointment, even though he is usually booked solid for at LEAST a month, they find a way to get you in to see him quickly. You just get the feeling that everyone in the office cares about their patients.
