Dr. Sam Sarmad Gabbara, MD

I changed my daughter's pediatrician to Dr. Sam Gabbara to have a doctor closer to my home. I needed urgent care for my daughter and I was told that because she was a new patient that I would have to wait for an appointment. I took my daughter to the ER and was then referred to a neurologist. I called Dr. Gabbara's office after the ER visit to schedule and appointment and got an appointment for three weeks later. I arrived for the appointment and was told that there was no appointment scheduled for my daughter and she could not be seen that day. I was given another appointment for three days later but I called the same day and changed her pediatrician to another doctor in the area. The staff was very unprofessional and guarded in wanting to help resolve the scheduling issue. I waited an hour before I was even given another appointment. I have met Dr. Gabbara before and he seemed to be a nice and thorough doctor, however, the STAFF deterred me from wanting to return for another visit. I… cannot recommend Botsford Pediatrics because my experience was horrific. My daughter was injured but I would rather wait two or three more weeks for another doctor's office than experience the dry, rude, unprofessional, assuming staff that greet the patients. If need be, I would rather go back to emergency.

Dr. Gabbara is always running 1 to 3 hours late for appointment times. Choose another physician.
