Dr. Samir Al Kabbani, MD

NEGLECTFUL OFFICE: They failed to provide secondary authorization to insurance AFTER PRESCRIBING the medication - was told it "takes too much time for our small office." And "we only prioritize seizure medications." They also NEVER answer the phone or respond to voicemails.

I have been seeing Dr Kabbani for over 20 years. He is the one who found out about my MS after other Drs did not. He has always been nice to me and answered all questions. I drive over 100 mile just to see this Dr, if I am late, all I have to do is call the office and they tell me they will see me when I get there. His staff has always been kind.

I’m 65 and had been diagnosed with epilepsy at 3 years I’ve had several neurologist in my lifetime. Dr.Kabbani is the 4th one to find I have 4 types of epilepsy and he is very supporting. He is very valuable and it makes my life so much better knowing he is my neurologist.Thank You sincerely and also his staff. Charlene Carter

I have serious doubts this man is actually a physician. He needs to be investigated. He puts all of his patients on anti seizure meds for which I believe he is somehow compensated by pharmaceutical reps. I personally was harmed by an procedure he performed which took 4 months to recover from. My very close friend who was also a patient was on a massively high dose of meds with dramatic side effects until I convinced him to get a second opinion and change doctors. When I changed physicians, my conditions improved immediately. Other physicians refuse to refer patients to him. I have worked in the healthcare field for 41 years. This is not a competent physician.

He is straight and to the point. If you suggest another way he will listen and advise you if he thinks it's not a good choice.

He Gave me a wrong diagnosis, never returned my calls, put me on meds that caused me major anxiety, then when I told him he said I needed to go see a crazy Dr. He never retuened my insurance companys paper work for my Botox on the units he requested so they denied the units he initially asked for. He never returned 3 call back to insurance pharmacy department they wanted to get a med put on the preferred list. He is he most incompetent Dr. I've ever seen I do not recommend you to see him unless you want him to through you on Epilepsy meds when you don't really have Epilepsy. He never pulled previous Neurology records. I'm very serious he terrible. He caused serious harm to me. Staff is also terrible, very rude.

First visit, I was very impressed. He was the first doctor to diagnosis me w/ EPILEPSY, (based on 2 abnormal EEG's). He seemed very knowledgeable, & I was super impressed. That's when things went down hill. He stated me on 1 of the newest seizure meds ( which he conveniently had samples of) & scheduled me to come back in a month. Couldn't take new meds, (reaction), couldn't get in touch w/ anyone at office, they REFUSE to answer phones during business hrs., but that's the only time you can leave a msg! Their VM States they will call back w/I 72 hours!! Enfed up in the ER TWICE, & he wouldn't even respond to hospital page or check on me in the hospital!! Finally get follow up apt.& was seen by nurse, followed by some assistant, who then relayed my concerns to Dr. Kabbani , he comes in the room sits down long enough to write a new script ( for ANOTHER NEW med) & walls out of the room!! I tried to stop him to ask questions or at least tell him what was going on, & he told me I should've… addressed it with his assistant!!! Biggest complaints: 1) can't get in touch w/ a human at any given time, 2) only writes scripts for the NEWEST MEDS ON THE MARKET, 3) takes more office time to meet with pharmactical reps than he does with his own patients, 3) after first visit, I have seen him 3 more times since and spent less than 7 min. Combined ACTUALLY getting to talk to him about my issues/ concerns. This last visit I was trying to tell him that my PCP changed 1 of my other meds, ( in case it interfered with the new script)- w/o missing a beat, he cuts me off and says " THAT'S NOT MY PROBLEM "!! IF I COULD 'GIVE '0' AS A SCORE, HE DOESN'T DESERVE A SINGLE STAR!!

was a patient for many years then i fell on hard times left a abusive marriage got homeless has to miss a few appointments last second cause my ride didnt come to get me they told me they would no longer be my doctor told them everything the woman didnt seem to care so yes they will help you but god forbide if some bad happens because then you do not matther its sad i would still go back to see him he a great doctor his staff 5 years back were mean.

He has even said that he gets the patients in and out, like bam... He is not interested in his job at all, only the money. He has done absolutely nothing at all the past 2 or 3 visits i've had. well actually, he ordered an incorrect back brace, a back brace to support back injuries... not for aligning scoliosis, like needed.
