Dr. Sam Lerman, MD

Dr Lerman has neglected me and my osteoporosis for 10 months now! All I get are promises it will not happen again and they will take care of me but nothing happens EXCEPT I now broke my foot because of my osteoporosis!!! NEGLECT!!!!!!!

Don’t go to this office unless you have hours to wait to be seen. It’s ridiculous I was there earlier than expected to fill out paperwork. 2 hours later I was not seen and had to leave!

Just came from the office. Scheduled a first time visit about 3 weeks before, provided all necessary insurance information that was confirmed. Two days ago, called specifically to confirm that my insurance ‘Unites Health Medicare PPO’ is accepted and received a positive answer. Coming today to the office was told that my insurance is not in the network and I should pay double price. I cannot believe it is just a mistake, because it was confirmed twice. Be careful scheduling your first visit to that office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lerman since 1995. I think he is an excellent doctor. The only issue I have ever had was that you can't just call at a moment's notice and get an appointment at your convenience. He is usually so booked that you have to plan to see him. I think this speaks of how so many people value his service. The other issue you may have is having someone answer the phone. Since there are several doctors in the same suite, it can be difficult to final get through. This has nothing to do with Dr. Lerman however.

I have been going to Dr. Lerman for many years and only started going to him because my mom couldnt stop talking about how good he was. I too was a little frustrated on my first visit. The staff needs a little more TLC, but after they get to know you, they warm up to you and are friendly. Sharon, his PA, is also great! I think she is the best. She takes all the time you need to explain and understand everything. She leaves you with a good feeling. The lab personnel have also improved a lot. I am very satisfied.

Dr. Lerman saved my life. I've been a patient for more than 15 years, and he has consistently been brilliant, caring, and successful in treating not only my illness, but also me, as a person.
