Dr. Sam Moghtader, MD

Excellent Physician. Is very responsive, immediately gets back to me. Takes the time to answer all of my questions. Very knowledgeable, always does what is in the best interest of my health care needs.

Dr. Moghtader has been my primary doctor for almost six years. He is a wonderful doctor. I was with him at the West LA medical center and then he moved to Baldwin Hills which is a little more far from my house but thats ok because the parking is free and much easier. He has helped me with a lot of medical problems including getting my diabetes under control which was a big problem for a long time before. He also helps me not to have spend too much money on copays by scheduling me a telephone appt whenever he can. He is always on time. I don't think I have ever had to wait more than a few minutes to see him. I have recommended him as a primary physician to a lot of my family and friends.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. So glad to have him as my new doctor.

Dr. Moghtader has been my pcp at Kaiser for 5 years. I have had 6 pcp's in my life. He's by far the best. Very attentive and explains things clearly.

I was scheduled to do a video appointment with him through Kaiser Permanente. I waited in the video chat room for 25 minutes and he never showed up. And then in the notes, he wrote that I no showed him. I rescheduled an appointment with a nurse practitioner afterwards, and talked to Web Services, and they said that even if there are technical difficulties with the video chat, this doctor should have called me on my phone number to confirm the appointment, if he noticed that I was not in the video chat room. He never called or emailed me, and instead just left a note that I no-showed him. Highly unprofessional. I would recommend someone else.

Since moving here from Tucson, AZ two years ago. Dr. Sam has been very helpful in my Health Conditions.... He is a fantastic Family Physician and I surely hate to see him leave us. Hope he and his wife the best in life and health.
