Not a fan, he is very condescending and comes off as if he knows everything. If he was a good Dr. Id say that could be overlooked but his over confidence id say is his downfall. My fiance had her gallbladder removed by this "Dr" and he left a gallstone behind. Now if this was caught in a timely manner and corrected it wouldn't have been as bad, but it was not. Immediately after surgery my fiance was in excruciating pain, curled up in a ball on the floor in pain and this "Dr" said it was normal. She went to the ER where she was sent back home because they couldn't find anything. A few days later still in excruciating pain this genius "dr" said she should go back to the er where the surgery was performed because it was possible a stone was lodged somewhere in a duct. The 2nd er admitted her then sent her home. A few days later (2 weeks in excruciating pain) our genius know it all Dr Sam G. Pappas finally got off his lazy behind and looked back at the scans and found the stone and had the… removal procedure scheduled. Had Mr. Know it all here done this 2 weeks sooner my fiance wouldn't have had to suffer in agony.

Dr Pappas is smart. I felt secure in his decision making and everything he predicted was correct. I love rush. We were happy going there for care. One negative of Dr Pappas was if you’re one of those patients that likes to stay informed he probably isn’t the doctor for you. I am in the medical field and had a lot of questions. Being an informed patient is important to me especially because I had a tumor. He would end up trying to avoid meeting me or sending a resident to answer questions for me. He would tell me “question”time is over and walk out abduptly. He didn’t make the time for me and was quickly in and out. The resident doctor did at one point misinform me which was even more confusing. After surgery, he didn’t go tell my family all was well. When the resident doctor saw my family and recognized them, he informed them all was ok. Dr Pappas should have done that, not the resident. All in all happy surgery went well and I’m ok.

Dr.Sam Pappas saved my life by performing a liver resection and gall bladder removal for cancer that began in the colon then metastasized to my liver ( the tumors were on both the left and right sides of the liver)... Dr. Pappas saved my life ( and has given me more time to live on this beautiful earth)! He is an incredibly intelligent Dr. who is so very CONFIDENT... I would REFER DR PAPPAS every time ... He set my mind at ease and gave me HOPE for a complete recovery. ??????????

After surgery, he never came to give info to my family and it was a 4 hour surgery so they were worried something happened. We ended up getting more information from his head resident, which isn’t fair because he wasn’t as knowledgeable. If he saw my family was in my room, he would avoid coming in. He was cocky as well. He did help me, and I a grateful but the process of getting information was hard.

Without elaborating and what a complicated case I am ... Dr. Pappas saved my life

Dr pappas is an amazing person! He gave my family hope when no one else did. I’m so thankful and blessed!
