Dr. Samantha Asha Berman, MD

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. This woman has the worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. She literally discharged me with no resolution to my issue & no plan in place. She acted super hyper & seems only to be concerned about her hair. Super unprofessional & gives Benefis a bad name.

This doctor was very rude to me in the ER and dismissive of my concerns. She talked to me like I was an idiot. She had it out for me from the moment she walked in my room because I mistook her for the nurse. They are all dressed the same and I didn’t hear her as she talked very low. When I asked if she was the nurse, she screamed, “I said I am Dr. Berman.” She is the coldest meanest doctor I have ever met. I was there in distress and discomfort too and dealing with her made my symptoms worse. This is a hateful individual. She should not work patient facing. A remote radiologist would be a good job for her. She is not a people person at all. She had even tried giving me morphine. I am happy I did not accept it. While I was in pain, I have an autoimmune disorder and was experiencing bad constipation at the time. Morphine would have made it worse. I feel bad to insult Rush Oak Park because in the past I had a great ER doctor. I forgot his name, but he was male and so kind. Samantha… Berman is awful.

This woman was abusive to me in an ER. She threatened me because I told her the medication she gave me for a migraine in an ER was not effective. Even the nurses were saying how much they hate her. I called my lawyer she’s a terrible human.
