Dr. Samantha S Mc Kelvey, MD

While I was able to schedule an appointment easily, nothing else went right for my appointment with Dr. McKelvey. Despite a complicated medical history that would have all been available to Dr. McKelvey prior to my appointment due to them being in the UAMS system, not only did I have to explain, in detail to the nurses my diagnosis' and exactly what they meant, I had to then help them find the relevant test results in my chart. This was followed with condescending remarks about my medical history. None of this would have prompted a bad review except for the fact that even after this treatment, and even after talking with the nurse about both the complications and the seriousness of my condition-- I never even met Dr. McKelvey. I didn't even know her gender until I looked it up before writing this review. She may be a great doctor for those who need a simple ob/gyn, I wouldn't know. But the fact is that if she couldn't have bothered to even shake my hand, she should have passed… me off to another doctor who could have. I will be looking for a new GYN.
