Dr. Samantha Lynne Michelena, MD

Dr. Michelena has a very good bedside manner and does a great job of convincing you that she’s caring and competent. She isn’t. When I started having severe pain and other problems after a hysterectomy she performed in 2022, she seemed completely clueless. I had to Google my symptoms and tell her what to do. I’ve had to have 4 corrective surgeries (and counting) to fix what Dr. Michelena did. My health and life are shattered. I don’t trust her or Cheyenne ObGyn and would not recommend them.

My questions were cut off by Dr. Michelena. She would cut me off with the phrase “just enjoy the process” over and over again. Yes, I want to enjoy the process, but I also had concerns that were not being taken seriously. I was not listened to. Health advocacy and patient education are so important, but these did not appear to be valued in this appointment. Would not recommend and will not be going back.
