I had a D&C completed at Lexington Medical Center last year. The experience was not the best because I waited hours to have my surgery completed as the doctor clear booked her schedule up for the day. It's all about the money of course, but when I was finally rolled to to the operating room. I remember the anesthetist was late, there was not greeting or introduction he just came in and shot me up with what ever drug was used to put me to sleep. I remember having a burning sensation right before I went under, which was almost immediately. I've had surgeries before that required anesthesia and I've never been handled in such a way. When I awoke from the surgery, my throat for scarred from what ever they possibly shoved down my throat to help with breathing while under. After I came to no one told me anything until I asked about my throat hurting and then a nurse said "oh there was some complications during surgery. As I look through my records now I see no notes about this said… complication. This was one of the worst surgical experiences I've ever had and surprisingly the worst I've had was also at Lexington Medical Center. I now travel 2 hours away home to get my care. Dr. Morton never mentioned the complication at a follow up either, which I don't think she even contacted me for one. Oh and by the way the procedure only made matters WORST, so now I'm facing the hysterectomy route. I hope doctors know that they too, get sick. God bless!

I felt Dr. Morton was cold, not compassionate and difficult to talk to. She was rushed and i got 5he feeling she genuinely did not care, was not interested in my care, my thoughts or issues. I would never go back to her, and I do not recommend her.

Asked her to be gentle...whew, would hate to experience her being rough. Older women, beware.

Best doctor ever! Compassionate, direct, and most of all she actual truly cares about her patients

Dr Morton is a fantastic OB/Gyn. Her bedside manner is the best and you can tell she really cares about you. She is a great surgeon. I have had 2 procedures and both times I had little pain and no complications. She is the best!

This is the most FANTASTIC practice- the staff was extremely helpful and Dr. Morton took time explaining her concerns and my care. She drew pictures to help me better understand my options. I have always felt uncomfortable with Gyn appointments but she set me at ease immediately!

Please, please do not trust your care to Dr Morton. She is cold, uncaring, rushed and condescending. If I had not reminded her of my history, she would have sent me home with RX and bed rest - since she hadn't read the chart, I had to remind her of my pre existing condition and I ended up in an emergency surgery because I stood up for myself. I hate to think what would have happened if I ahd trusted that she knew my case! Please find anyone else and do not trust something as important as your health to this sub par doctor.

Dr. Morton's bedside manner was wonderful. She put me at ease. Her way of explaining my diagnosis was outstanding, and her professionalism was impeccable. I highly recommend her.

I had a hysterectomy by Dr. Morton. That went okay. But I have after surgery concerns and questions, and I don't feel that she takes the time to answer them. At my two week post op I felt rushed out. When I call with questions they take a long time getting back to me. She has been no help at all. I just want someone to help me figure out what to do to feel better quicker, but all I got at my 2 week visit was that I was healing and could go back to work, and all my concerns were stress related. Could she not work with me on the best way to deal with the anxiety? After my 6 week post op, I'm finding another doctor. I feel that she got my money up front and now she's done with me.
