I took my teenage to see this doctor. She had a headache for 3 days and sinus pain and puffiness. In addition, her ears were aching. I treated with home remedies - ginger tea, sinus wash, warm water treatment, vapor. I also tried Tylenol sinus meds, Aleve, Advil, Tylenol for the headache and nothing helped. After 3 days I went to the doctor (my daughter's pediatrician was out that day) and she said she was not convinced that this was an infection. She says sinus infections are green! I had server infections over the years - none were ever green! She did not give anything for relieve this non-stop headache and said if it did not go away in two weeks !!!then we can come back. I took my daughter to another doctor two days later, as symptoms persisted, and he diagnosed an infection with appropriate treatment.
