I've been seeing Dr. Shams for several years. She is knowledgeable and always answers my questions. I don't know if it's the fault of the practice, but she routinely keeps me waiting about 45 minutes. I always have a book with me.

Unfortunately I did not have a positive visit with Dr. Shams. I found it confusing and it felt a bit dismissive of concerns. Perhaps just a byproduct of a late in the day end of the week appointment but it felt rushed, that she was not familiar with my file, and it was not as helpful as I would have hoped.

My visits were mostly short, but within that time I realized how thorough and caring Dr.Shams is. She made sure I understood all of it and referred me to those who could possibly assist in other ways. Her follow up and follow through procedures are top of the line. I felt like someone was actually listening and trying to help. Need more doctors like that.

Dr. Shams is very professional and caring, and helps you feel at ease. She takes the time to thoroughly explain test results and answer any questions. I have seen her several times. My appointments were all on time and I have never felt rushed. Her staff is also very professional and caring.
