The best doctor I have ever had as a family physician

My daughter and I recently saw her and my daughter had been throwing up so the office made our visits via telehealth. It was our first visit with Dr. Brand and it wasn’t an ideal setting. I had the capabilities to do a full set of vitals on us so that helped a little. However, when she joined us on the zoom meeting, she rushed through everything. We were scheduled for 2 hours and we barely got 30 mins for the two of us. She didn’t try to get to know us or our health issues besides what was going on with her throwing up and cursory talk about me. She talked over me, and interrupted me and repeated questions that we had already answered. She called in a prescription, ordered a test and bloodwork that I obviously have to go there for. She didn’t take a full history on each of us either and we have complex medical histories. She told us to reschedule appoints to come in. Why did she even see us on zoom. It’s one thing to order a follow-up when you actually have something to follow up about… but it’s just lazy to not do the job one day and make us pay again because she didn’t do her job the first time. I’m not sure I’ll see her again. Other than establishing us as patients of the practice, I feel like we didn’t what we paid for. I could have seen someone at Patient First and felt more cared for and like someone was invested in my well-being. I certainly wasn’t left feeling that way from Dr. Brand. I don’t know who or what she was in a hurry for but we certainly felt like it was a hit and run for us. This is the first review of her on here and I don’t know if ours was a unique situation or if that’s par for the course with her. If you’re going to see her I suggest you start with low expectations and that way anything above that is the cherry on top.
