Dr. Samar Fouda, MD

Dr. Fouda believes in a holistic and dynamic approach, considering the whole person, their biology, psychology, relationships, and cultural context. She views treatment as a collaborative partnership and integrates psychodynamic understanding with practical tools such as mindfulness, lifestyle strategies, and nutrition. At the core of her philosophy, Dr. Fouda believes every person is on a journey and her role is to hold their vision while balancing deep exploration with actionable steps. Dr. Fouda was drawn to mental health by her curiosity about the human condition, what shapes people, what challenges they face, and what helps them grow. Her strengths include creating a safe, grounded space, adapting flexibly to each patient’s needs, and bringing curiosity and collaboration into the work. Outside of work, Dr. Fouda enjoys painting and design, playing tennis, hiking, and practicing functional training. She also loves looking at the stars and does astrophotography as a hobby.
