I have been seeing Dr. Mumtaz for about 4 years and am glad I found her. She has helped motivate me to live more healthy and has caught several things that needed attention for long-term health. Her office staff is more than just friendly and all of that. Here is what is more important to me: they're able to get prescription refills quickly, able to get me in when I need to be looked at for seasonal cold or flu, are very professional and discrete, and with COVID, they're attending to all details and haven't missed a step to keep patients and staff healthy. I have referred my adult child who has referred several of her friends. ALL are thrilled. Read between the lines about the different age groups here. Yes, Dr. Mumtaz is friendly, nice, professional, succinct and attentive to details, but more importantly to me, she helps patients recognize what's best for their medical situation.

I needed Dr. Mumtaz's information for insurance so Googled and noticed "reviews". With so few reviews, and several very negative, I wanted to chime in. I've been a patient of Dr Mumtaz for several years and find her to be very thorough, competent, and friendly. She ask enough detailed questions to determine exactly what information in critically important and pays close attention to any ailments I present. Fortunately I'm pretty healthy for an "old guy" and have not major issues. The office staff and techs are all pleasant, competent and I have never had a problem with any of them over the years. Too bad that mostly negative reviews are posted because she doesn't deserve them.

Please avoid. You will wait months for an appointment, even after being a long term patient. On top of that, the front office staff is rude and cold.

The staff is generally good, and I've settled on Dr Mumtaz after a long list of disappointments...but, she is far more concerned with blood tests and computer read-outs than with the patient. It would be nice to be asked how I've been feeling and be given some options rather than being referred here and there.

I have seen Dr. Mumtaz a few times over the last 6 months. As a new patient, she listened to my concerns very closely and did seem genuinley concerned about getting to the bottom of my situations. However, she sent me to 5 different specialists and all of my testing is coming back fine. Two of the specialists told me there was no reason for me to be there. I feel like she was unsure of my issues so she sent me everywhere to cover herself, but is not listening to my problems. One of my specialists told me the medication she prescribed me will do nothing for my condition, so instead of taking me off of it, Dr. Mumtaz increased the dosage. She may be a good general care doctor for people with few medical issues, but not in my situation. Her office staff is good. Very friendly and return of emails is very prompt. However, I am seeking a new primary care doctor.

I am so pleased with my experience with Dr. Mumtaz so far. She is very thorough and listens to all of my concerns. She has referred me to some wonderful specialists, and her and her office staff are right on top of emails and test results.
