Dr. Samedyar I Durrani, MD

Being treated by Dr. Durrani has been life changing. I was diagnosed with severe gastroparesis at the beginning of 2020. This was after 20 years of being mis-diagnosed and being prescribed tons of unnecessary medication. After my diagnosis I just kept getting worse and worse with hospital stays becoming a normal part of life. I was told by a previous Dr. that Gastroparesis sucks and I would just have to deal with it. I was also told that male Dr.s find Gastroparesis patients a nuisance. After that conversation I knew I needed real help. That’s when I found Dr. Durrani. I was able to get an appointment within a week of calling. The first time I met Dr. Durrani, I didn’t know what to expect. Part of me felt like I would be dismissed once again. That’s was definitely NOT the case this time. He actually took the time to review my case and listen to me. He recommended the Enterra Gastric Stimulator. His team did a great job dealing with the insurance company, everything went smooth. Here… I am 3 weeks post surgery and I have been overwhelmed with how good I’m starting to feel. The surgery was one of the easiest and fastest recovery I’ve ever had. I think that’s mainly due to having a sharp competent surgeon. Thank you Dr. Durrani and team. You gave me my life back! I strongly recommend Dr. Durrani.

I had a tumor removed and it appeared to infected to me, but durrani kept telling me it looked great! The next day I ended up in the ER having an emergency surgery to get it drained. It was the worse experience of my life. My leg is still not 100% healed after 4 1/2 months. Will never use this dr. again! And this is putting it mildly!

I had hernia surgery with Dr. Durrani and ended up with a bad wound infection. I understand that these things can happen after a surgery, but Dr. Durrani totally blew me off when I expressed my concerns. I had to go to the ER and get the wound drained and needed to take antibiotics for 1 week after that. Will never use him or his office again.

His staff followed through to get approval from my insurance prior to scheduling surgery to remove 3 lipomas, and when I asked if he could do 2 more on the day of my surgery, he accommodated me and removed all of them that day. Wounds are healing with no complications.
