Sameer Dhalla, MD

Waited 1hr+ the first appointment while he joked around with the staff behind the counter. He talked about TV, lunch, etc. Waited 1.5+hr the second appointment to review test results. After waiting 1.5+hr he told me he didn't have the results. Office never called me to tell me that. I wasted half a day off work. Bedside manner was decent, but the old office with out of date technology and awful wait times has caused me to leave his practice.

Sat and waited for over an hour. Dr Dhalla had nobody else waiting, and made me sit there while he discussed game of thrones. I poked my head behind the counter and I heard him tell his staff “go out this guy in a room I don’t want my patients looking at me.” I sat in the old disgusting dirty room and nobody showed up. It was 1hr 15min past my appointment time and the office was empty. I told him I had to leave and he finally came in. I tried him a second time because he said “it took a while to validate me as a new patient”. Same issue second time. Never again

Dr. Dhalla is a skillful doctor but does not follow through with his patients. Dr. Dhalla examined my wife - who suffered an extensive injury and came up with a good treatment plan. Then, when his primary hospital didn't have the equipment to safely treat, rather than coming up with an alternative he dropped us like a hot potato and had his assistant tell us we needed to find a new doctor. Even though the doctor was in his same group his assistant would not make the call make the call to transfer our care.

Has no respect for patients time! Left me waiting close to 2 hours before I got up to say am I next? The staff said I would be next but it would be another 45 mins! How dare you make me wait close to 3 hours after my appointment to let me know while the MD is joking and laughing with his staff talking about food! I ended up leaving and going to the ER to find out I had an inflamed appendix.... as a physician you should be ashamed and dishonored.

Dr. Dhalla seems to be really good and gives you your time and explains everything to you. That’s the only positive side to this all. When I went to the WNY office, the doctor and the staff were talking and chatting and I had to wait for 1 hr and 15 minutes while he was talking about random things including good, restaurants, and small talk. It was the worst experience. I had to complain and ask the staff to tell them that it was taking so long and until then he came for me to be seen. I was the ONLY patient there. They need to fix this because it isn’t right or fair.

I am one and a half hours to be told that there is a Nother hour week but the doctor was talking to his staff and laughing like having conversations if you have an hour back up why are you joking around with your staff

I am very thankful to have Dr. Dhalla as my gastroenterologist. It is a shame that as young as I am, I have to put of with my Crohn's diease and all its complication. Dr. Dhallas gives me hope and it is always willing to help. The last doctor I had only cared about charging my insurance and making money. I am very happy Dr.Dhalla is taking care of me now. I've been very depressed due to my disease, but somehow, this doctor makes his patients feel so much better. If you are in search of a doctor that will listen and actually care, then Doctor Sameer Dhalla is the perfect doctor for you. God bless him and his good heart.

Fixed my problem

Best Doctor I have ever met. Listened to my son's problems - asked many questions - spent time reviewing all the information THEN gave a game plan to go forward on my son's treatment.
