Dr. Sameer Rohatgi, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Rohatgi for over 5 years. He is always kind and considerate, taking the time to explain his findings, your diagnosis and notes from the visit you are having with him. He is thorough in his examinations. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Rohatgi. On another topic, this site has the wrong address for his office. Same complex , different building.

Dr. Rohatgi has been a great. Would definitely recommend him if you need a cardiologist.

We absolutely just think he is a terrific guy! When he walks into the waiting room he radiates with his gentleness! We have complete faith in him and his staff! We have recommended him to over 10 people and proud to say they he is now their physician!

Very patient and very to the point!

Dr Rohatgi is an excellent diagnostician! He found a 99% blockage of my right coronary artery when my chest pain was dismissed by other ED docs . He also saved my husband’s life when he found that a bacterial infection had destroyed his aortic valve! He is straight with you about what you need to do to help yourself. He is quiet , compassionate and caring . 10/10 recommend.

My initial experience with Dr. Rohatgi was not pleasant and was similar as described by previous reviewers. However, the more time you spend with him, the more you follow the advice he gives, the more you engage in conversation, the more he opens up and engages with you. He's a great doctor! Takes the time necessary but expects you to do your part. It's great motivation to do the things we need to do to stay alive. I would recommend him to my friends and continue to see him myself.

Please do yourself justice and do NOT go to Dr. Rohatgi. He has very poor bedside manners and dismissive of your concerns and suggestions. He is ignorant of certain issues a cardiologist should have knowledge in. When presented with symptoms of a problem and he doesn't know the answer, his response is: a shrug of the shoulder. No offer to find out what is going on. I was having active chest pain, difficulty breathing when exercising, in his presence, and his response: nothing, other than, exercise more. O.K., no explanation to the problem but go ahead and work your heart harder and keel over. He was not concerned with my symptoms at all.

I must say, although I don't have insurance, this office did not treat me any different than a person who has the best insurance. The office staff is extremely friendly and caring. Obviously seeing one of their doctors means you have concerns about your heart and the level of compassion they give you provides a sense of comfort. However, although Dr. Rohatgi is very nice and a good listener I believe he could've been more specific when explaining my prob to me. Maybe he hasn't been a cardiologist long enough to know how to provide more details or put a patient at ease about their concern.

Does not explain clearly. Condescending manner. Dismissive of my concerns. Poor bedside manner. Office is great, nurses excellent. But I am finding another cardiologist.
