Dr. Sameh Abou Ward, MD

Dr. Ward seem to have no knowledge of what my pain was and had no idea of how to treat it! I hope he knows how to help some because I had to find a doctor who treats me with respect and helps with my daily pain! I have had great results for several years now with a different doctor in Virginia.

I have had chronic back pain for almost 40 years. Dr Ward has been absolutely awesome. I have been seen him for over 2 years now.

He blew off my pain. I was in pain management in Georgia for five years prior to moving here with no problems. I came here and it took 8 months to get in to see him. He refused to continue my meds from Georgia, and prescribed a drug that made me sick and did nothing for my pain. Then he told me to use over the counter meds. I have slipped discs and a fracture of my spine. He has treated me as if I’m a drug addict and his staff have too. His bedside manner is horrible. He was late, rude, and turned his back on me, muttering as he walked out. When I called to tell him I needed to see him because the medicine was not working, he refused to see me and told me to take over the counter meds. I am in continuous pain and depend on my wife to care for me. I can’t sleep, sit, walk, or lay down without pain.

Extremely tardy! Staff out front of the location tells you the same thing. He’s always late. He has the rudest manners towards a patient ever been encountered from a Physician. I wouldn’t NOT recommend him to anyone. If you speak out he will dismiss you and place Blame upon the patient for him being the one who can’t show up ontime to do his scheduled job. If I am 5 min late they would tell me I have to reschedule, oh but let the dr be 1-2 hours late and it’s ok cause it’s the patients fault and they get dismissed. Don’t just don’t go to him. You may just have to live with the pain, but I’ll gladly take your money for procedure after procedure!

Horrible experience pain is a fact of life et over it. No prescriptions ever only expensive injections that do absolutely nothing. Very rude and uncaring only interested in getting your money. Doesn't even speak good English. Very hard to understand.

He has not given me any pain meds and only wants to administer injections. He is a man out to get all he can and he doesn't care how much you hurt or address any of your needs. Good MOrning is his welcome, whether 8 in the morning or 5 in the evening. He shood not be in practice. Just read his reviews and you will understand.

I have severe Crohn's disease and I have had extreme allergic reactions to the typical medications used for Crohn's. I had to have open surgery at the Cleveland Clinic after Cleveland found a walnut sized obstruction in my terminal ileum and six reactive lymph nodes. The doctors in East TN were willing to let me die from this obstruction. I had been seeing Ward for almost two years. After he found out how negligent he and the other doctors in TN had been Ward became very obusive towards me. Ward said the doctors at the Cleveland Clinic or any other surgeon had to get his permission to give me post surgical pain medication. I will never see Ward again. I am severely tramatized after seeing Ward today. Ward will have to answer to God for all his mistreatment of sick people that trust him to help

The man talks and talks but does not listen. Not interested in listening. He's heard it all so he thinks. I was told your old you're going to have pain. Live with it.

Stay away from this man . He is cold and crude and all he cares for is all the expensive test or treatment he can do to make him money. He's mean an hateful. Made me cry the last time I saw him. Saying that all of it was in my head. He doesn't even exam you. Ppl like me with chronic long term pain sure don't need someone adding to your torment. I call an ask if I cld file a complaint and change doctors. He's the clincher , this office is owned by the doctors that work there. I was told there was nothing they cld do. STAY FAR FAR AWAY
