Dr. Samer R Choksi, MD

Was sent here for an IME for job related injury. I have had multiple surgeries (8+) and my doctors have said my injury is permanent with little chance of my spine and nerves ever healing. This quack Choski contradicted every previous doctor in his three minute evaluation (although I waited for 45 minutes in an examine room). Choski said I am able to return to work with no restrictions to a job requiring physical work. I have had numerous MRIs, CTs, EMGs showing the injury and damage. Choski must have been paid large by WC to write such a bogus report. Choski is the true definition of fraud doctor.

I am not sure who these other people that left a review saw! But I guess it’s what you’re going in there for and who’s paying you that matters! I was there to see him for an IME visit that my long-term disability company from my old job sent me to. I had no choice in the matter, of course! This man was very arrogant, very dismissive. He told me other than hello. His first sentence was, I am here to prove that you are not disabled he told me without examining me at all through the whole visit that anyone can say they have fibromyalgia or chronic pain. It can’t be proven anyone can touch someone else and they can say ouch or they can jump. He made me do a few things like walk like I was doing a DUI test and yes I was able to do it. I was very wobbly but I was able to do it. Did it cause me pain yes it caused me excruciating pain to do it. I’m not the type to show my pain , he did touch down my back and when he touched one spot I jumped and he said I haven’t even touched you. How can you… jump but he did touch me and then said I will be reviewing your medical records later so he didn’t even really know why he was seeing me other than what I wrote down on this paper that was 3 miles long , I have no strength in my right or left hand and using my right hand, which is the dominant hand to right is really painful. I had surgery on my hand and it went well but did not heal well apparently or they hit a nerve but of course he’s not my doctor so he doesn’t know all of this , he said anybody can say they have migraines. Anybody can say this or that so basically I was denied and I’m not as much upset about that that I am the fact that he’s doing this to more than just me he doesn’t know what I go through on a daily basis he wasn’t interested in hearing it unfortunately. Hi I have many medical issues. On a daily basis I have 2 to 3 of those issues going on at one time if not all of them so working even a part-time job that I have specific days and times that I have to be at is not possible for me I really hope that others that are scheduled to see him. Look him up and read his reviews before they say OK and ask for another doctor I worked in the medical field from the time I was in my late 20s till I could not work no more a few years ago so I know how most of this goes but who is he to say that I am not disabled if the government considers me disabled, and I get Social Security disability That really blows my mind

I was referred by my attorney and found the office bright and clean. I was seen with little to no wait time and found him to be extremely through. I would highly recommend Dr. Choski (Jet Medical ).

Misdiagnosed me

I was referred to DR. CHOKSI after a very nasty motorcycle accident. I was a little leery at first because I do not care for doctors or hospitals but I have to admit.The staff at Jet Medical Center are absolutely amazing. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE were very professional,(but not so much you felt isolated), thoughtful,(shared ideas and thoughts), and actually; believe it or not HEROIC. Yes, I said it. Silly me; I left the headlights on (because it was raining), and the battery in our truck went completely dead. The secretary staff were kind enough to cover each other so we could get a jump. I was completely satisfied with Jet Medical Center and would recommend them to anyone. If any of the staff read this........ A few more magazines ( all varieties ) would make the short wait time, enhanced perfectly!

I was diagnosed with COPD, ephysema, asthma, and chronic bronchitis. Dr. Choksi diagnosed me as having normal lung functions. I also had one of my lungs removed. LOL He also claims that he examined my elbow and it was normal. I have had injections in my elbow for several years because I have tendinitis so bad. I guess you can determine that by looking at it. I only have to words for this guy. SECOND OPINION!

Dr. Choski is a great doctor - he figured out I had a broken bone iwth an xray and then got a cat scan to make sure - nothing wrong with double checking. Then he took care of my fracture perfectly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I believe Dr. Choksi to be extremely professional, caring, and understanding. He is very patient, doesn't make you feel rushed while examining you... just overall very nice guy.

Horrible doctor, stated that he "does not treat symptoms". Misdiagnosed me for 4 months, denied that I had a concussion when I had been admitted with a concussion in the ER 4 months prior. Terrible bedside manner.
