Dr. Samer George Saqqa, DO

It took 2 months of my life to get in to see Dr.Saqqa. When I left the office in Shelby Township the Dr. Saqqa and the front desk told me I would receive a call when I would be able to get the shot. They did not tell me it would take another week and a half to receive the call. When I finally spoke with Jamie who schedules the appointments, she was a disaster of unprofessionalism and courtesy. She informed me it would take another month (again of my life in pain) to get the cortisone shot. Also if you go to the Shelby office you can only get the shot at their St Clair shores office. Do not go to this doctor, the Associated Orthopedists of Detroit. Jamie stated she makes appointments for nine doctors and she is short staffed. Unbelievable options of timing are only 1 hour on a Friday in the afternoon and 1 hour in mornings for Dr. Saqqa as they have to share the surgery room with nine doctors. Associated Orthopedists of Detroit are too big and are incapable of caring for their… patients who are in pain.

The staff was polite. An Dr.saqqa was very patience, professional an answered all my questions. My experience was 5+. Thank you Dr saqqa. Stay healthy.

I had four surgeries performed by doctor that went absolutely fabulous I would recommend him as a doctor to anyone and I have recommended him you have five stars on there I give him 10 Stars

This "dr" is a joke. He is bought and paid for by insurance companies. I could not, in good conscience, see a dr that misdiagnoses patients for the sake of insurance companies denying their insured. I'm sure if I saw him as my choice of drs, he would be performing the same surgeries that I am having done because of my legitimate injuries sustained in my accident.

He listened patiently and went through several alternatives with me. I've seen him for three different issues and found him unfailingly kind and competent. He has a healing touch. I never felt rushed. Instead, I felt comforted and I trust his judgment.

Condescending, talked at me, not with me. Assumed he knew everything about me, even though that was the first time he saw me and he did 99% of the talking. More than willing to have more appointments with me (i.e. charge me or my insurance) even though he told me he can't do anything for me.

Other than one snit who works in the front office, the experience was great. The nurse who worked with Dr. Saqqa was great and he was absolutely fabulous.
