Dr. Sami George Diab, MD

I think Dr. Diab is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever met. I have been seeing him for approximately 6 months. He really makes me feel cared for.

This is the second time I have been charged for a test I didn't receive. Very little said about test I had and he thinks all is o.k. NOT.I will never go there again. I was sent by my PM but never again.

Maybe he's better when working with male patients. My husband attended my consult with Diab regarding chemotherapy after my uterine cancer and hysterectomy. Most of his attention and comments were directed towards my husband - not me, the potential patient. He even told my husband right in front of me that he (my husband) should make me do the right thing. He was most interested in convincing me to not only to proceed with chemo but to also participate in clinical trials. Thankfully, I have found a much better physician.

First visit he spent time with me after my double mastectomy. Second visit, literally 3 minutes, barely had time to ask 1 question that answered curtly. My liver numbers always go up and down, they drew blood for tumor markers and immediately called and said "get a CAT scan". I declined and my numbers went back down to normal. Splitting migrane headaches from Letrozole, now they want a BRAIN MRI. Seriously? Stage 2A (not spread to lymph nodes), breast tissue taken out 6 months ago. Brain cancer takes 1-2 years to break the brain/blood barrier to show it's ugly self. I'm SO NOT impressed with this guy. He jumps the gun when anything is abnormal and won't spend time to get to know you to see if that's normal or not. I'll be looking for a different oncologist. Be warned - His "meditate/mindfulness to relieve anxiety" should be your first clue he won't talk with you much and put it ALL BACK ON YOU.

Made me very uncomfortable. I found him presumptuous, patronizing and upsetting. DID NOT give me a physical chest exam. (double mastectomy, no implants.) Seemed more interested in my bugs bites. Wont be going to this person in future

He is an excellent doctor - and perfect at a time of incredible stress. I love his life philosophy and his approach. I also really appreciate his willingness to thoroughly explain new concepts. Knowing him has been a gift!

The office visit was one of the most impersonal and rude experiences I've ever had in a doctors office. He literally spent less than 5 minutes with me and made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a patient. How are you supposed to have confidence in a cancer doctor that treats people like this? It is bad enough going through cancer...you don't need this man to make it worse.

I disagree with the previous reviews. IMy family has had a negative experience. He ran in and out during the visit, never called back when we had questions and the follow up was very difficult to schedule in a timely manner. The visits are expensive and the dr. should be able to answer all the questions and show care about the patient, we got neither.

Missed diagnosed Skin Cancer on my back, when I showed him the spot he said "it was nothing". My Plastic Surgeon saw the spot on a routine check up and immediatley ordered a biopsy which confirmed Cancer.

I have found him a very attentive to the patient and understands the pain we go thru - the terrible journey = from treatment until going on remission. and still after remission, if any concern, ever ready to help the patient.I have very high opinion of him and have recommended other patients to him.
