The doctor I saw at UVA at my recent visit was competent, knowledgeable, and took time to listened to my questions/concerns. I would like to see the hiring of more doctors like the UVA doctor I saw during my recent visit.

Professional, competent, kept things moving

I almost canceled appt because had not lost weight. I felt like a failure. She praised me for coming in and that I had not gained. Gave me many possible ways to help me. I was so glad I had kept my appointment as she encouraged me a lot.

Dr. Afreen explained the results of my Dexa scan and recent labwork. We decided it was best course of action to go ahead with treatment plan we had discussed at our last visit. My labs had shown Improvement and that opened up more Rx options available for me to consider. I then told her about a new health Issue that needs to be addressed Immediately that will also require I take SubQ Injections. She thoughtfully answered all my questions and concerns. And we came up with a plan to that worked out well for me, without compromising our treatment plan for my oteoporosis. I feel very fortunate to have her as part of my overall Care Team .

I have already shared about Dr Afreen's extensive knowledge about osteoporosis with a friend who plans to schedule an appointment with her.
