Dr. Samir Rafiq Atieh, MD

This man is a incompetent, inconsiderate, disrespectful, prideful, arrogant man. I went to urgent care on September 26th and he treated me like i was a waste of time and energy. I had been to the emergency the day before and was told that my left ovary was the size of an orange and I literally spoke to SURGEONS about scheduling surgery that same week on Thursday. Due to confusion and a call from a woman working for Jps connections i was told to go to Jps Urgent care to try and get an urgent referral. He was the doctor that saw me and he was absolutely disrespectful. Hes a liar. He told me he saw my CT scan and that my situation was not that serious. He told me that it was no big deal and that I needed to go home and wait till November when I go to my appointment at the women's clinic. I asked him if i could speak to some one else and he Exploded. He yelled at me. He was actually literally yelling at me. Telling me that there was no one else who could help me, there was nothing else to… do and there was nothing he could do and that I wouldn't be getting surgery till after 6 months. I am a 22 year old African American young woman and i was there alone and defenseless and he shredded any and every ounce of hope i had about getting help. I cried my eyes out and ran out of the room. Im hoping i can do something to put an end to his waste of a title. He doesn't deserve to be a doctor. Nobody deserves to be treated like shit by him.

He is a rude, impolite, unprofessional and racist guy. If you are not talking Arabic he will become a monster and reject you. I visited him once in Urgent care and this stupid guy kept telling me go and just have this pain we can’t do anything for you, I talked with his team leader. He is a big Lier too! Avoid going to him.

Follow-up will be with podiatry in a couple of weeks.
