Samir Khan, DO

 Dr. Khan is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physician, with fellowship-training in interventional pain procedures and biomedical ethics. He specializes in the non-surgical treatment of painful spine and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Khan prioritizes conservative treatment through the use of targeted exercises, therapies, orthotics, medications, and ultra-minimally invasive procedures when appropriate. He employs a full panel of image-guided procedures including injections, ablations, augmentation, denervation, regenerative, and neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation). He has a special interest in formulating comprehensive treatment plans that do not involve opioid medications. Dr. Khan is an expert in his field and is an avid researcher and educator. He has published several peer-reviewed scientific journal manuscripts and presented nationally at scholarly meetings. He teaches PM&R residents about evidence-based solutions for patients with pain and …dysfunction related to the back, neck, joints, muscles, tendons, and nerves. His ultimate goal for each patient is to improve quality of life and restore function through accurate diagnosis and customized care.In his spare time, he enjoys family outings, nature, community building, motorsports, soccer, and chess.
