Dr. Samir Ahmad Mohammad Zaina, MD

Dr. Samir Zaina was our family physician for years before we moved out of state, and we truly miss the level of care he provided. He is an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced doctor who always took the time to address our concerns thoroughly. Beyond his medical expertise, he was always accommodating to our family's needs. His staff was professional and often went out of their way to fit us in, even on short notice. If you are looking for a doctor in Paterson who truly cares about his patients, I highly recommend Dr. Zaina.

I like my doctor he is the best I don’t understand why people are so negative

His receptionist is very rude and impolite. My elderly mother and I had to wait for an hour and half before seeing the physician despite having an appointment set-up by the doctor himself the day before. It was for only an injection that she needed to take. The rude receptionist did not even apologize, and said that the doctor did not tell her about the appointment? which is a stupid and lame excuse. She then insisted that I must pay the office visit fee ( $100) before I see the physician which is again very rude. The doctor was also rude and was could not care less. Total apathy and did not even wish my mother well. He could not answer some basic medical questions. Although apologized for the excessive delay as we were leaving, he was rude and impolite too. It was a bad experience because of the rudeness of that girl as well as the physician who lacks any kind of empathy. Clearly the guy comes from a low level background and is interested only in money.

I had to wait one hour and a half with my elderly mother despite having an appointment to get an injection. A very rude receptionist who said if you do not like it take it with the doctor. The physician was also rude and could not answer some basic medical questions.

If you have all the time in the world and would love to be stuck in an office for a long period of time than this is the doctor for you. He has his staff schedule appointments for way before he arrives in the office. He does rounds at the hospital in the mornings and double books patients unnecessarily. He is tardy to mostly all of his scheduled appointments. I will be finding another doctor.
