She literally killed my mother by not weighing her and paying attention to her weight loss and malnutrition at her first post-surgery visit. Even though we asked about malnutrition over and over again during in-home rehab and we asked for a nurse to visit and she refused to authorize it. We switched to her husband for one month post/op check up (why did Zamani even weight that long to schedule follow up?). He just told us to put my very physically able and cognitively alert mother into hospice and just accept that she was going to die. I don’t think Dr. Zamani was competent and overlooking weighing my mom at her initial post-op visit and noticing she had dropped from pre/surgery 80 to post surgery 68 lbs, and not following up as she dropped to 66, 64, 62 was negligence. I wouldn’t go near this doctor and I regret I made the mistake of choosing Dr. Zamani instead of one of the other Bloombergs to see her immediately after her surgery. My mother died on April 15 due to malnutrition.

She cares. She ordered a better blood pressure medication for me and it is working. My readings are in a healthy range again. I am grateful.
