Dr. Samitha Mallam Reddy, MD

I believe that medicine is an art as well as a science, and if so, then Dr. Reddy is equally adept and experienced in both regards. My wife and I are two of her patients, and we have profited over the years from Dr. Reddy's insight and guidance. She listens to us (I've met many doctors who don't listen to their patients.) Nor do you feel rushed during an office visit. Dr. Reddy actively coordinates with other doctors, and those other doctors and nurses that treat my wife have told me that they hold Dr. Reddy in high regard. My wife has been on dialysis for most of this year (Dr. Reddy has treated my wife for almost five years.) I cannot think of a more talented, more competent, or compassionate nephrologist than she. I would recommend Dr. Reddy to friends and family without reservation or hesitation. Renal failure is a terrifying prospect that fortunately happens only rarely. But if we had to go through this experience a second time, we would still trust Dr. Reddy with our… care. p.s. Her staff is outstanding. Even the best of practices cannot thrive with mediocre staff, but Dr. Reddy's staff is highly commendable as well.

Don't bother making an appointment with Samitha Reddy. She will waste you time, not even bothering do an exam. She makes you wait well over 30 minutes and then spends 12 minutes with you. If you need labs, that is another wait while the staff discusses another patient in front of you. Even though test results indicated that I have something wrong, it is a wait and see approach with her. So, wait until you need dialysis.

Dr. Samitha Reddy has been one of the most wonderful and caring physicians I've ever had. She always puts her patients needs first, listens and does her utmost to provide excellent care. I was originally referred to Dr. Jessie George, Dr. Reddy's associate at Advanced Kidney Care, who is equally wonderful, professional and dedicated in every way. I have been under Dr. Reddy's care due to scheduling since beginning dialysis, and could not be more pleased with either of them. They both even waived their fees between the time my private insurance was terminated and my Medicare coverage began. I've never in my life had a doctor willing to do "that", and I will be forever grateful, for the terrible financial stress they relieved me of when I already had quite enough to worry about.
