Office and waiting room dirty. Carpet in waiting room very stained. He hurried us thru and was not very nice to us. Like he was doing us a favor by letting have him for a dr. The appointments were for my husband who has passed away.

Office has no idea of Kidney Stone pain. Instructed to see Dr. Hamway on Monday after weekend E.R. visit. Called the office and told them the situation. I was told they would call me back. I didn't eat anything incase they needed to do testing. Waited all day for the call back which finally happened at about 4:00 P.M. I was then told that I would need testing and they would get it scheduled. I ate! When I do get an appointment for testing, 4 DAYS have passed, but not the stone! Find out I need to go to the O.R. for a Stent and sound "Shock" wave stone treatment. After treatment, I was terribly sick. I had to call the office several times asking for help. I was told I "Shouldn't be hurting." After multiple attempts, I was connected with Dr.Hamway. I told him I was throwing up and nothing, not even the pain pills would stay down! He insisted that I should not be in pain or throwing up! Finally he relented and ordered an anti-puke pill that worked. Once the puking… stopped, I could take the pain pill and had relief. Several days of pure agony had passed. When I went back to the hospital for a follow up film, they saw the "Stent" coiled up in my bladder. They said it was like passing a long stone and just as painful. I finally realized why I hurt so much. They also told me he was talking with others about my "Pain and Puking" and I was just trying to "Milk it" for more time off. He even used my name! Isn't that a conflict of patient privacy? I will never trust him or his office staff again! He didn't believe his patient because he knew better, or so he thought until the film proved him very wrong. I don't need a Web-Footed Quacker for health care.

Its been 15 days since I was diagnosed with a kidney stone (19 since the pain started). Dr. Hamway's office called 6 days ago & confirmed the stone is stuck & needs surgically removed. Since then I've paid for another ER visit(because of the pain) & received a call today saying the procedure to remove this stone causing so much pain can be scheduled 7 days from now(because Dr. Hamway went out of town)! WOW! They know its stuck & I'm in pain & trying to take care of my 3 small children & still they say I have to wait 12 days from when they confirmed it was stuck to have it removed!!!

Diagnosed me with IC. Kept prescribing the same drugs that weren't really helping and scolding me for not restricting my diet enough, other than that barely spoke to me. Did not seem to care about helping me at all. Started seeing a new urologist and turns out I don't even have IC. Would never recommend Hamway to anyone.
