Dr. Sammy Khatib is a very considerate capable. Physician. He takes care to explain different options. He has worked with me for years.

He's the best, better than all the rest. I wish all my doctors had his bed side manners.

I have A-Fib. I began to experience blood pressure swings and lightheadness. My other physicians altered the dose of sotolol. Problem persisted for months. After meeting with Dr Khatib and discussing my symptoms he dropped the sotolol and prescribed another drug with a different mechanism of action. Before this, my symptoms suggested episodes of A-Fib. I went to the ER twice but did not have A-Fib, just the symptoms. The lightheadness on standing resulted in a collapse in which I broke my right leg. Since Dr Khatib changed my medication I do not have the lightheadness and symptoms of A-Fib. I am mobile and have not fallen or felt the bad lightheadness over the past 6 months. Dr Khatib quickly diagnosed the problem and in doing so was professional, friendly and clear in his explanation to me of the basis of my symptoms.

Dr. Khatib is a wonderful doctor. He is very friendly and kind and spends time listening to the problem but is also knowledgeable enough to come up with a plan very quickly. He is willing to try different approaches to fixing the problem, and always has a Plan B. He is easy to talk to and seems genuinely concerned about you as his patient. He is also a very skilled surgeon, as he did perform an ablation on me with no complications or ill side effects. He follows up with you and has a great staff.

Excellent physician. Laid out all the options and was very clear in explaining the tests and diagnosis. Was very personable and treated my son and I with appropriate respect and concern.

Does not follow up as needed, rushes through appointment.

He's too young - practicing for only 8 years. Graduated in 1999. All he does is recommends nuclear perfusion tests, sleep apnia tests, and more useless and expensive tests. He's too young to be a cardiologist - not enough experience in only 8 years for MY purposes.
