Dr. Sammy Yongmin Shon, MD

I was seen by dr samyy, I left wit more questions then anwsered. I felt unimportant the whole visit. he gave me very short resposes with little insight to any of my questions. I was already nervous prior to my visit and I left feeling worthless and nonimportant. If a medical dr ment to save lives can have such disinterest in my ongoing medical situation then, nobody is going to see me and give me the time a day. I had my condition get much worse and I ended up back in the hospital undergoing emergency surgery because I felt to worthless why bother with a second opinion I couldnt bare to be treated the same way a second time.

I had a poor experiece. he did not act interested in my condition, I was in severe pain at the time, and was suffering from kidney disease. He said I probably had a UTI. He also was very erratic, he was very abrassive with how he spoke to me, making me very uncomfortable. His tone of voice kept rising higher and higher everytime I would say I felt like there was more then that wrong with me. He also looked unrested, lips were chapped, he was having trouble finishing the full topic and was umping around a lot and was hard to understand. he kept randomly looking around as if he was expecting someone to jump out and attack him. he seemed very paranoid. I he had some white and clear specks lightly around his lips making me question my safety and other patients safety. Im not sure by I think DR. Sammy shon might have been on a narcotic at the time. it was a very unsettling and weird experience not something normal for a visit to the ER.

I saw Dr. Shon at Providence walk in clinic in Everett. My appt. was extremely rushed and he inaccurately diagnosed me as having kidney stones. If he had taken a simple culture sample from the UA he would have seen that I had a kidney infection and written me a script for antibiotics and saved me 6 hours of time at the Emergency room getting a CT scan thinking I had kidney stones. I would never see this doctor again.
