Dr. Sammy Leon Turner, MD

I saw him in the ER. I know it was close to shift change but he stayed until I was released to make sure I had great care. I really appreciate his down to earth explanation and and his care for my well being.

I have been to Dr.Turner many times in my history of living in Fayetteville. In fact, I ASK for him when I come in. I always get to see him because that man works more than anyone I know!! He is caring, smart as a whip and really listens to what I’m trying to say. He asks my opinions on my care and what I feel is a good option. I send my family and friends to Dr.Turner, as well. When I think of WRMC - I think of Dr.Turner and the best care possible. He is an outstanding representation of WRMC and I will never go anywhere else!!

If there are any negative stars I would give it to him. I came in via ambulance, incoherent, unable to walk and he said I needed to see a psychiatrist. I met with my primary Dr the next day and advised symptoms I presented with, the first response my primary said was "so he ordered a head CT". "No", he did nothing. I was treated like a drug addict and sent home. The ER didn't even bring me a wheelchair to leave when I was discharged, and I could barely walk and communicate. He did say that: "[ I ] was brought to the wrong hospital." Wasn't that kind of him.

Three trips to the ER and Dr. Turner was the first doctor to take me seriously. I’m very thankful for him!

Dr. Turner came in on his off-day to treat my father for an emergency gallbladder operation, he was professional and a great surgeon, who completed the operation with no complications. Very thankful for what he's done.
