When my psychiatrist left in 2019 without any notice, he was the psychiatrist I was set up with. I had a new patient visit, and he changed my medication. However, he also left after one visit. Insurance denied a second first patient consult appointment, so I ended up without care for over a year and withdrew off my medication cold. He told me to wait until the next appointment to discuss a new medication's effect on me, but he must have known by then he wasn't coming back. I felt completely abandoned. I had a mental health episode that ultimately landed me in the hospital, and I lost a lot of friends in the process while I was still in WD. It was incredibly painful. Speaking of, I was really uncomfortable that I had to disclose all social history to some guy who didn't care enough to say he was leaving. The practice did not notify me of either doctor leaving. I arrived to my next appointment, and that's how I found out both times. I'm sorry. I wish I mattered. But I know I don't… and never will.

Excellent clinical skills, better than average knowledge of psychopharmacology. Empathic.

Sam Aloian is one of best psychology Drs. I have seen in my lifetime. He asks direct pertinent questions and addresses your concerns immediately. He is insightful and to the point. Irecommend him highly.

I have been seeing Samuel for a while now and by far, compared to other psychologists, psychiatrists or therapists. Samuel Aloian is the best I have seen the most helpful, he is a great listener and gives wonderful advice. He, along with family, friends and my therapist are the reasons I am turning my life around.

I've seen Sam several times, and I always leave his office better informed and able to make sound healthcare decisions. He's my partner in health and I trust him. Trust is earned and he earns it. I wish I could spend more time with him at my appointments. That would be my only critique. I highly recommend him.
