Dr. Samuel Poriza Au, MD

Samuel P. Au, MD, PhD, Medical Director of the Mercy Hospital Radiology Oncology Department, is a board certified radiation oncologist. Dr. Au received his medical degree from the University of California in Davis, CA and his radiation oncology residency in Barnes-Jewish Hospitals, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University in St Louis MO. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge, Dr. Au also holds an MBA in Strategic Planning and Financial Management from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering Department from University of Illinois in Urbana- Champaign, IL.
With more than a decade of experience as a leader in radiation oncology, Dr. Au brings with him a boundless expertise in the clinical and administrative operation of a cancer center. His oncological services includes high precision image guided radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, CyberKnife® Robotic Radiosurgery, and prostate brachytherapy, to name a …few.
