Dr. Samuel Webster Belknap, MD

Dr. Belknap is an absolute nightmare. Wants to do the absolute minimum of his job and have the patient be burdened with the rest. Terrible communication skills and absolute uninterested in your health.

This doctor is disrespectful. I asked him a question about how an apparent condition could have been acquired (because it wasn't even a diagnosis, it was just a possibility) and his answer was an arrogant and offensive one. People are free to practice whatever lifestyle they want. But no one (no matter how inflated they may feel compared to others) has the right to assume or question the values ??and character of other people. I believe that respect should be mutual and it flows both ways. Comments (and attitudes) like that only demonstrate the lack of maturity, professionalism and seriousness that some health professionals lack. I will never go back to that place for medical treatment.

I had a spot on my right kidney, some doctors said to wait and see if things got worst. but I wanted to get the kidney out, Dr Belknap said he would take it out. After every thing was over the kidney was malignant, I thank Dr Belknap and the shaft at Athens Area Urology for their care. I hope to not need any more surgery, but I will remember and care I received at Athens Urology GOD bless you all

I recommend Dr. Belknap 100%. He is so kind and caring and gets to the problem and then helps you with the solutions and takes care of you with professional help and suggestions. I just visited him today and got the best report on cancer on my right kidney cause he got it all when he did the surgery. Thank you, Dr. Belknap for everything.

My medical doctor suggested I go see a urologist. I was assigned to Dr. Belknap. I was impressed when he walked into the office. He spoke and asked how I was doing. Then we started deciding what needed to be done. Together! It was awesome to be included in my health and surgery decisions! I was disappointed when I went in for my first checkup. Dr.Belknap immediately explained that I needed to give it time and we talked about the problems. Well as he said “Time will heal”! And it did! AWESOME DOCTOR! AWESOME STAFF! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Dr. Belknap is an excellent doctor. My 12-year-old son was referred to him and he was wonderful throughout the process. He really connected with my son and this allowed him to open up and actually talk about his issue. My son's issue is resolved and I highly recommend Dr. Belknap!

Dr. Belknap is very knowledgeable, professional and caring . He very quickly identified my problem. He then told my wife and I not to worry until he tells us to worry. Now is not the time to worry, he will have it under control---and he did. He fixed my problem and I am doing quite well. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a Urologist.
