**Review for Dr. S. Capra:** I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. S. Capra after I fell down the stairs and re-injured my frozen shoulder. From the moment we met him, it felt as though my husband and I were completely sidelined. Dr. Capra dominated the conversation, not allowing us to speak or share our concerns. When I tried to explain my situation regarding insurance only covering one physical therapy session at a time, he dismissed my input entirely. Instead of listening or providing a collaborative approach, he insisted on his opinion without considering my current physical therapy commitment for a different issue. His dismissive attitude was not only rude but left me feeling frustrated and unheard. I’ve heard numerous horror stories from other patients about Dr. Capra, and unfortunately, my experience only confirms these. I would not recommend him to anyone seeking a compassionate and attentive physician. Overall, I left feeling disrespected and unsupported in my… healing process.

Dr. Capra has been helping me with my knees. I am very happy with my knee replacement. He is very kind and his office is well run. My hospital experience was excellent. I trust him.

The day after my first visit with Dr. Capra I called to confirm the date of my surgery. The person who answered the phone was good at first then as the conversation went on it just went downhill. I had some repeated questions and just wanted the assurance that someone will get back with me to confirm the date of my surgery. This person started to cut me off while I was still talking and didn’t seem to have the patience needed to deal with an anxious customer. I was calling from my work phone since cellphones are prohibited and I wanted to make sure I don’t miss their call but this employee didn’t have the patience needed when I explained my situation . She should not be working with the public especially after she hung up on me!

I was very pleased with the services I received. I had both knees replaced at the same time and glad that this is one doctor that does not shy away from this! Thank you, Dr, Capra! I highly recommend you!

Dr. Capra is knowledgeable. He is thorough, intensive and gentle in dealing with my orthopedic problems.

I was one of this doctors first surgical patients after he came to FWB. I thought he was a good credentialed doctor. After my knee replacement surgery, my pain is much worse, I cannot walk as far as I could before the surgery, and have to have a painful and very expensive replacement of the replacement that he did. After he moved to White Wilson his patient caring and bedside manner became horrible, and very uncaring. I was not even allowed to see him for my surgical followup after he changed to White Wilson and had to seek out another doctor. Go to someone else if you value your mobility.

I honestly have never been treated so horrible by medical office staff. It started with my initial phone call to set up an appointment. Once in the office, Dawn (receptionist) belittled me in front of my child (patient), and an waiting room full of strangers because I did not bring a copy of the XRay. I was not informed to bring a copy of the Xray, by her during the initial call, nor by the appt. setter that called me 24hours after my initial call. She was short, curt, and unprofessional to every person she spoke to on the phone, or in office. Dr. Capra, and his nurse were pleasant, and professional. My son's cast has come loose, and I've called twice to speak to the nurse as instructed on our "at home" instructions without a call back. The cast material is chipping off, and my son has not done anything more than play video games and watch TV. Least to say, I'm going to another Orthopedic doctor so my son can be seen, and his cast replaced. Truly, not dissatisfied with Dr. Capra, but… highly disgusted with Dawn, and her attitude. I don't think it's too much to ask for decent customer service when paying for a service. Some degree of professionalism is appreciated. I'll take my "business" elsewhere. Dr. Leo Chen can see me this afternoon within 4 hours of my initial call.
