doctor does not like older patients. he is rude and does not listen t will not be in his office again

I happened upon this page looking for his phone number and was stunned at the negative reviews. I have a strong hunch it's one person with an agenda saying the same thing over and over. In any case, I had a severe leg injury from a dog attack 2 years ago. He was very patient and sympathetic as he took off the gauze pads and bandages. He then took the time to put a number of gauze pads over the still open wounds. Most doctors would have called a nurse in to do that, so it certainly caught my attention he took a lot of extra time to tend to me.

We have used Dr. Docena as our family physician for over 25 years. I have been very pleased with the care he has provided. He is conscientious and he takes the time to listen to your concerns.

I've been unfortunate enough to be put on medicaid while I'm in nursing school because of my lack of hours at work. I tried to get in with him since he is listed at the PCP on my card because of my gallbladder. They asked if I take any medications, to which I responded Vyvanse. They informed me that he would not see me because he would not prescribe that. I told them I already had a doctor that deals with that and I was just looking for a PCP. They refused to see me and treated me as a drug seeker. Very unprofessional.

I had the most terrible experience at Dr. Docena's establishment. He laughed at my symptoms, told me "things happen as you age", did not even take the time to look over my chart before entering the room. I 'm so happy I got a second opinion because he blatantly missed my diagnosis.

I went to Dr. Docena years ago. I left him for many of the reason everyone else gave. He was rude, spoke down to me, also told me I had allergies and started me on Allegra. I don't have allergies and stopped taking the medicine. When I came back because I was not better I heard him telling the patient in the next room that he had allergies. He said to me Why are you back ? Like I was annoying him . I don't think he cared what pain or discomfort I was in. I noticed while looking for a doctor because mine retired Dr. Docena and saw the reviews and thought I should write my experience down even though it's been years so people could see that these other peoples reviews are right on the mark. Not surprised.

This doctor lacks compassion. He is very uncaring. He acts like you are not wasting his time and bothering him.

This doctor has a serious problem with manners! He is very condescending. He also misdiagnosed me. I told him I was having pain in my ear. He takes one look and says, " no infection". I had to go to emergency room, right after seeing him. I have a brain tumor! He should not be a doctor!

I'm a recent college grad with some free time so I took my grandmother to her appointment with him. The front desk person was nice but when we met the doctor he was in a bad mood. The way he talked was condescending. He talked to me like I didn't know any English even though I understood every single one of his sarcastic remarks.

Very Rude and worst Doctor I have ever been too. Missed diagnosed me. He said I had allergies after I clearly told him I have never have allergies. I had to go to the ER the next morning.
