Dr. Samuel Anthony Gallo, MD

My concern is that I originally made the appointment based on the fact that I was told it would be a free consultation. Three months later, I received a bill from Dr. Gallo’s office for about 35.00, which was unexpected. Upon calling the billing associate, I was told that I owe about 35.00 because they billed my insurance and it wasn’t completely covered. If you decide to use Gallo’s services, it may be best to get in writing that it is a free consultation.

In the office today and Dr Gallo began SCREAMING at me. A nurse came in and told him others could hear him. He didn’t care. Refused to send a referral for another doctor and refuses to explain the pain post surgery. My surgery was 6 months ago he refuses to investigate the pain.

I went to Dr Gallo , as I had a severe case of ptosis.. He did a wonderful job fixing both of my eyes. My eyes look like they did when I was much younger. I also had lumps under both of my eyes and on one side of my face from a permanent filler that was injected by a doctor in New York over 10 years ago. It disfigured my face to say the least. I could not find a doctor that could really help me with these horrible lumps. So, when I had my first met with Dr Gallo, he asked me about these lumps. To make a long story short, during my eye surgery, he also removed these lumps, too. He went above and beyond what he had to do for me. I will be forever to him, as it has made all the difference in the world how my face looks. No more lumps under my eyes or the side of my face. I still can't believe it! Thank you Dr Gallo from the bottom of my heart! You are an angel from heaven.

Before going to Dr. Gallo, I had a brow lift, eye lift and a Juvederm injection. All procedures were botched terribly by another plastic surgeon. My eye would not close and the other surgeon said there wasn't anything else he could do. I was in terrible pain and went to my ophthalmologist. He took one look at me and gave me a band aide contact and eye gels to help with the horrible pain. I was then referred to Dr.Gallo who has been fixing all the botched work that was previously done. I had my first surgery to fix my eyes. What a wonderful job. My eyes are almost perfectly even on both sides. I don't have one eye lower than the other. Too much skin was taken out during the brow lift which left my eye unable to close all the way. Dr. Gallo is cautiously watching to see how my eye is responding to the surgery he did. He said he might need to go in and do a skin graft to get my eyelid to completely close. Dr. Gallo had to remove the Juverderm injection that just was not… injected properly and left me with a raised white line on my face. At some point the brow lift that was done will need to be corrected. I will need to go in and have more surgery to correct the skin above my eyebrows and forehead that are falling caused from a poor brow lift. While waiting for all these corrections to my face, I had Dr. Gallo perform a mini face lift. I am thrilled with the results. I had never thought it would be so perfect. Now that I am with the best doctor I know the rest of my problems will be fixed. I just wish I had known about Dr. Gallo before going to anyone else.

Dr. Gallo performed emergency surgery on my daughter. He and his staff were very kind, professional and explained everything. He even called the next day to check on her. Wonderful and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend him.

I've had three surgical procedures over the last two and a half months. Two performed at the East Surgical Center and one at his Dublin office. Dr Gallo is a perfectionist and it certainly shows in his work. Once he completed the eyebrow lift, I opened my eyes and was shocked to view life with light. I had no idea I was l living in shadows. His staff is enjoyable, informative, comforting and caring. I have heard others complain of pain and a horrible recovery with these procedures (using other physicians) and I did not experience either. They tell you to begin eating pineapple prior to surgery as it reduces swelling. This really works. I will recommend Dr. Gallo with total confidence.

Dr Gallo was always in a hurry. He did not detail what recovery would be like. No photos of before and after procedure. I should have asked more questions. There were complications after my eyebrow lift and the Dr and staff were very unprofessional regarding follow up care. They never called to see how I was doing and never called to see about a follow up appointment. I never went back and would recommend you go elsewhere.

I got my eyelids done and so pleased with the results. Gallo's office took the utmost care of me. He even tweaked my left eyelid to make it perfect at no charge!

I had a brow lift and eye lids surgery. I am very happy with the care I was given from the first visit, to the day of surgery, follow up call after surgery, post op visit and another post op visit 3 month later. The office staff and nurses are wonderful. Dr Gallo is VERY personable. I was referred to Dr. Gallo by a friend that had the same procedures. They take time to make sure you will be happy with the results. Thanks Dr Gallo and Staff. I'll be back!!

I had a an unpleasant experience. I had surgery on both upper drooping eyelids and bags under each eye.The day of surgery Dr.Gallo was very busy and spent a few seconds marking my lids for surgery.I came out of surgery in pain (both lower and upper lids were cut and sutured) and I remember someone asking my husband how my pain tolerance was?Dr.Gallo told him that If he knew I was going to be in pain he would have given me numbing medication in my incisions to help.Yes they did give me pain medication !Then in my left lower lid a small part of my incision pulled apart. and.I went to his office I felt he was rushed and irritated that I was there.The nurse who took my sutures out seemed unsure of herself and actually missed a suture that I took out at home.I had to remind both of them of the Rx.he told me he would give me for the open area in my incision.I have been an RN for 36 years and am familiar with surgery and post op care.Months have passed and my right upper lid is still droopy… and I have a stitch under my skin along with a scar in my right upper lid.Yes my lower lids and my left upper eyelid looks better but am disappointed with my right upper lid.Dr.Gallo was recommended by the Searcy eye group and I had full confidence going into the procedure.I will go to another plastic surgeon and get a second opinion.I will not recommend Dr.Gallo.
