Due to the requirements, let me just say that he was unwilling to consider or discuss other treatment, e.g., medication v. surgery although options had previously been given to me by a former head of the department. Also, I was sitting when he entered the room but he & his male assistant continued to stand. My husband had the ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy procedure, with only a numbing agent, and it was very painful and he almost could not complete the procedure. Prior to having this procedure done, we had read several articles describing this procedure, and all urologists downplayed the pain involved in this procedure. If you have to have it, tell them you want to be completely sedated. I was in the room with my husband, and he said it was torture and I thought the same thing. I felt like I was watching my husband being violated! It was horrible!

Very professional but still friendly. I have MS and he has been a great advocate. I am a former drug rep, I know he knows his craft.
