Dr. Samuel Philip Hopper, MD

Dr. Hopper is a pompous blowhard who likes to pontificate. He spent 1.5 hours with us, delaying other appointments, and giving us zero useful information. He spent 25 minutes talking about a previous condition my daughter had, which was not neurological, and has been resolved since 2015. He basically said she had headaches 1.5 hours of a 720 hour month and they couldn't be causing her Alice in Wonderland Syndrome. He said to be glad we were dealing with him instead of the seizure docs who would just give her meds and that he was absolutely certain she didn't have a brain tumor (as if these are the only 3 causes of AIWS). His advice: get more sleep, put down your phone, have more fun, and "be awesome!" We're dealing with a stressful, rare condition and need a doctor who will help us investigate not blow us off after wasting our time. My daughter has dealt with many doctors in her 16 years and I will never forgive myself for not standing up and walking out on Dr. Hopper's disrespectful… and dismissive attitude.

He is a very accurate doc who checks up on my irregular period.

He is a great doctor. He was my pediatrician from birth until I turned 18 and I have no complaints about him. He is a genuine doctor that cares about his patients.
