Dr. Samuel Adesoji Irefin, MD

Samuel A. Irefin, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic. He is also a Staff Physician in the Transplant Center of the Division of Surgery. Dr. Irefin has various roles that help foster medical education. He is an Associate Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Director of Undergraduate Medical Education in the Anesthesiology Institute and Director of Advanced Core Curriculum in Perioperative Medicine and Pain at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. Dr. Irefin was also an Assistant Professor at the Cleveland Health Sciences Center of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, from July 1999-June 2004. Currently, he is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in anesthesiology and critical care medicine.
