I spent weeks reviewing top hernia surgeons in my area and Dr. Samuel Kashani had the best reviews.  The path towards the fastest recovery possible in my opinion is first doing your homework and finding the best surgeon in your area. It makes a HUGE difference with your level of anxiety when you trust your surgeon. After reading Dr. Kashani's reviews, my assessment was he was very experienced, precise, focused and very very very good at what he does.  Additionally, he has a very good bedside manner, warm, caring and extremely funny!  I'm so glad I chose Kashani because my pain level AFTER surgery was a 2 out of 10.  Everyone's different of course but hernia surgery deals with being careful around nerves and that's why choosing a very experienced, precise surgeon like Dr. Kashani is extremely important.  The more precision and care taken with the nerves...the faster the recovery.  My recovery was EXTREMELY fast.  Dr. Kashani is EXTREMELY skillful.  On the 2nd day, I was doing my… everyday activities! No issues!  I didn't take any opioids.  Just tylenol on occasion for 3 or 4 days.  Dr. Kashani was so helpful and answered all my questions.  I love Dr. Kashani so much!  He does not realize just how much peace of mind his work gives to people.  If you can't wait to get rid of your hernia and want that peace of mind, trust in Dr. Kashani's skill and expertise.  After the surgery and you feel that hernia budge gone, you will experience peace and be so grateful for Dr, Kashani's work.  He truly is like an angel that just healed me and I wanted to give him such a big hug after seeing my hernia bulge was gone.  The peace he gave me brings tears to my eyes.  I was dreading surgery for a whole year and it turned out to be such an easy 45 min. procedure and such an easy recovery period.  I had 2 hernias on each side so a total of 4 hernias.  I had a bilateral inguinal hernia surgery using robotic laparoscopy.  I will never forget this experience and as strange as it sounds, my operation day was one of the best days in my entire life!  Dr. Kashani's staff is also very wonderful.  They answered all my questions and got back to me right away!  Thank you, Dr. Samuel Kashani and staff!

This is the best doctor I have ever seen. Back in 2017 I had a horseback riding accident and all the doctors said my issue was going to take care of itself. Until it didn't and I ended up in the hospital where thankfully Dr. Karshani was attending. He literally saved me. I cannot recommend him enough. He is a God send. For real.

Had a great experience with this doctor's office. Very professional scheduling staff, very nice, responsive, and very respectful of my time. The other staff (PA, etc) are also really nice, professional and competent. As for the doctor, I really appreciated his expertise, concise and clear recommendations and treatment.

I rarely write reviews on line, but I am pleased to share my thoughts on Dr. Kashani. Admittedly, I dragged my feet on getting my paraesophageal hernia repaired. After two years from diagnosis, I interviewed surgeons for the procedure. Once I met with Dr. Kashani, I did not look any further. I chose him since he had an extensive background in procedures along the digestive tract. It was an easy choice. He was extremely thorough as he explained the procedures along with the risks that accompany this type of surgery. He is skilled in all forms of surgical techniques, but I chose the Da Vinci robot. That proved to be a great decision for my swift recovery. When I encountered a couple of periods of unexplained discomfort, Dr. Kashani called me back quickly and allayed any concerns I had. I may have some additional surgery in my future, but Dr. Kashani will be my go-to doctor for that also.

If you are considering treatment with Dr. Karshani do not hesitate to make him your Doctor. I had an accident 4 months ago and have been in front of numerous physicians who either couldn't figure out how to treat me or were simply unwilling to try. Dr. Karshani stepped in and made a diagnosis and treatment plan within minutes of reviewing my case. Normally I feel, doctors I see don't even know my name or why I am there, until looking at my file. Dr. Karshani knows exactly who I am and what brought me to him. He is gentle, understanding and incredibly smart. He is not afraid of a challenge. He actually has a sense of humor which makes you immediately feel at ease. I cannot recommend him enough.
