Fantastic surgeon and knowledgeable but needs better bedside manners

Dr. Kenan takes extreme interest is what is wrong and how to fix it. He is kind and knowledgeable.

After performing surgery I did not need he refused to help me when I obviously had developed a post surgical infection. When I finally went to another surgeon, infected tissue on the ball of my foot had to be removed and I have never walked right since 1999. The most unethical aspect was that when he was questioned, he altered his clinic notes.

My visit with Dr. Kenan was very informative. He explained everything to me in great detail. He spends time with you and makes you feel like he cares. We had to do surgery to remove a Gangloin cyst, which was attached to a nerve. He carefully removed it with no damage to the nerve. I also had a lesion on my femur that was removed, biopsed, and bone graftef. He made perfect incisions and sitched me so beautifully. He really is a great doctor and would recommend to everyone. He also is very nice, understanding and knows what he is talking about.

Dr Kenan is a very intelligent and seasoned surgeon. Originally the entire circumference of about 10 inches of bone in my son's leg was to be removed. Due to his expertise he was able to save 25% of the bone which made his leg more stable. It is 5 years since his surgery and he is riding a bicycle and running, things we weren't sure would ever happen. That is all due to Dr Kenan. We will forever be grateful. We have not had any issues with the office staff or his promptness.

Dr Kenan..is the most amazing and professional doctor a mom could ever want for their daughter. My daughter has a reoccuring giant cell tumor and he has removed it twice already each time trying to preserve the use of her wrist. He doesnt take unnecessary chances and was with us imformin us of her condition and what he is doing all the way . His knowledge of teh subject is great and even after the operation he personally cam eto check on her not sent one of his assistants.

I was told he was an expert and refered to him for a consult by another surgeon. This doctor was the most dismissive and useless person I ever met. His consult lasted 3 minutes with him advising me to just live with the disease and expect for it to get worse over time. He had no idea how to treat me although he is allededly an expert in what afflicted me. He does not even deserve a single star but there is no such option here.

For All potential patients! Please be careful. This is the worse doctor, who should not practice med!! He failed to diagnose and manage tumor. Eventhough it was not his spesialtis tumor benign in thoracic area he took a patitent made surgery and without getting frozen speciment report and taking bigger margin closed out the patient. As a result patient got complication and years later 3 other surgeries. This doctor failed to to diagnose and manage the complication in timely matter. This Doctor should be charged with committing proffesional misconduct.

It is with a heavy heart that I must report this: the appointment was a giant waste of time and miney. I was referred to this doctor because as I was told he was an expert. Prior to setting an appointment, the staff assured me that he specializes in my affliction. My initial visit cost $350. I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to be seen. He looked at my MRI and said there is nothing I can do and sent me on my way. All that took about 5 minutes. No suggestions as to where I can look for treatment, no additional information about the implications of my affliction, no information about the disease, nothing. It's totalky unacceptable that only in the medical field they can charge you hundreds of dollars and not provide any services, even informational.
