Dr. Samuel R Moss, DDS

Dr. Moss is a native of Lafayette, LA and has been practicing dentistry for over 27 years in the community. Dr. Moss received his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, TX and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, later earning a dental degree from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. He specializes in cosmetic, restorative, sedation and laser dentistry as well as oral surgery, root canal therapy and TMJ treatments.
He is committed to lifelong learning in order to keep up-to-date on exciting new advances in modern dentistry and technology. Dr. Moss is one of 30 worldwide dentists to achieve both a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry and Accreditation in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, both serving as recognitions of excellence in his field. He is proudly a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association and a certified instructor at the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Moss enjoys …spending time with his wife, Michelle, and their three daughters – Dory, Samantha and Maggie. As a family, they volunteer their time to mission trips with Vision Ministries to Mexico and in the United States. He enjoys golfing, fishing, cooking and travel, while also writing the next great murder mystery novel.
