This place will tell you that they accept your insurance and then afterwards they will tell you that they don't! The office manager will lie and tell you, oh, they didn't know that was the insurance that you had and they don't accept it - but when you call to make an appointment as a new patient, that's one of the first things they ask you!

Worst physician experience of my life. This doctor is ignorant, rude and above all dangerous. DO NOT PUT YOUR LIFE IN HIS HANDS-go literally Anywhere else. I have my masters degree in nursing and luckily knew enough to ask for certain test (which he refused to order btw). He wanted to prescribe another round of antibiotics when I have signs of viral not bacterial illness. (No fever, normal CBC, normal chest X-ray) He got upset when I said no to the antibiotic. He doesn’t like being questioned and is extremely rude. I waited 2 hours to be seen for my appointment and when we left the waiting room was packed-he has way too many patients to do a good job with each. He doesn’t care at all about his patients. I do agree with so many of the one star reviews. I pray this review saves one person from going to this terrible doctor. I will be reporting him.

Great bedside manners and takes his time to get you better. His staff is also fantastic.

On first visit he would not do anything until he received clinic notes from previous (out of town) doctor. Two weeks later I found out that his incompetent office staff didn’t know how to click on a link to download the clinic notes that were sent within 24 hours. After being put on hold 5 times, I was told they would call back - they did not. Now they wanted me to reschedule my appointment due to their incompetence! But first available was two weeks out. That would be a month from first appointment just to get basic meds refilled. When I finally did see Oloyo, it was an 1 1/2 hour wait - with an 8:15 am appointment time. When I stated that we had been waiting a long time and I have to get off work to come to the doctor, he said to find another doctor. His reaction was angry and defensive. He called in his office manager and told her to send a 30 day notice that he would no longer be our doctor. I was stunned. But in hindsight relieved. I had been with my previous doctor for 36… years. Dr Oloyo’s and his staff’s behavior was appalling, unprofessional, and unacceptable!! Doctors in Corpus Christi are hard to find. Keep looking. Don’t bother with this one.

He may be a knowledgeable doctor BUT he gives lots of tests to pay for his expensive machines and never gives you the results. It’s like your health is some kind of a secret that should only be known by him. He prescribed one expensive med ($361/mo) without realizing that it’s side effects were contradictory to what I was being treated for. My bad reaction to it was almost life changing. He appears to resent questions and in some cases won’t give you the courtesy of an answer. When you give an answer to one of his questions that he doesn’t like, he asks you again. When you ask a question like a test result that he doesn’t have an answer for, he makes something up. The professional staff is very good, but the office staff appears condescending. Unless you’re privy to an inside phone number, odds are you hit a recording.

Never answer there phones even at 8 am. Always the recorder. One day I placed 140 calls to office. Finally I had to go just to get what I needed. I asked the girl why don’t you answer your phones? She blamed it on ATT&T nope cause the other phones where ringing behind her. Not how it use to be.

He wasn't interested to hear health concerns or patient medical history. A patient's medical history is important!!!!!!He never gave a direct answer to medical questions just generalized his responses. His staff continuously apologized for his behavior. Definitely do NOT recommend this person!

The front office staff is extremely rude including the office manager. Worst doctors office I have ever been to. I waited 2 hours to be seen for my appointment. Nobody on the staff acknowledged or apologized. For another appointment I waited 1 hour. In order to have your prescriptions refilled you must call the day before they are up to come pick up your prescription the next day. They will tell you it will be ready at 5pm (they also close at 5pm). You are forced to run around like crazy the day you need a refill. I have never experienced such horrible customer service! The staff is awful! I had an issue getting my prescription refilled that I have taken for ten years due to their "rules" on refills. I had somewhere to be at 5pm the day of and was leaving out of town. I could hear the staff laughing at me and talking rudely about me in the back office including the manager. This was extremely rude and unprofessional. Also, almost every time I have gone in the girl who sits at the… window is eating. Not a good look!!! I recommend you steer clear of this place!

I feel that the appt. schedule needs to be viewed and try to find a solution because the wait is 3 hours it is not good for patients. So for the people that say and write that he is a good doctor time to realize that the main purpose for the doctor is $$$$ , not much the people cause adjustments need to be made so we can have a good experience thank goodness he is not my doctor but my relative does not like change
