Dr. Samuel Oommen, MD

I have had atrial fibrillation for a number of years. I have seen Dr. Oomman 3 times since relocating from NJ. He has always been very generous with his time. He is knowledgeable, patient and kind. He was very thorough in reviewing treatment options with me, and more than willing to address my specific concerns. Many physicians lack "bedside manner." It was nice to have a compassionate Dr. who helped put me at ease.

I have been impressed with the experience from booking to visit. Dr. Oommen is wonderful. He is very patient and has wonderful bedside calming manner.

Dr. Oommen is a Godsend. He is an excellent surgeon, is kind, caring, compassionate, dedicated, calming, has a great sense of humor and a wonderful bedside manner. Whenever I saw him he made me feel as if I were his only patient. As my cardiologist said, "you won't find a better surgeon or a finer man, and I totally agree. I had to go through colon cancer surgery and he was with me though it all, and still is. He responded to my emails both pre- and post-surgery and has even called me at home several times, staying on the phone until all my questions were answered and fears allayed. If you have to go through any type of colorectal surgery, Dr. Oommen should be your surgeon.

Dr Oommen is the preeminent colon rectal surgeon in this area. Ask any other doctor or nurse and they will all recommend him. Very personable and approachable. Exceedingly skillful. I know. I rated ease of appointment low because he is so busy with patients.

I was a patient of Dr. Oommen back in '06-'07. He is an excellent doctor and will work hard for you and your care. If you need a great coolor-rectal doc, this is the one you want to go see!

Dr. Oommen is an excellent, first class, highly skilled surgeon. I experience zero pain (ZERO!) after undergoing a procedure with Dr. Oommen. He has excellent character and his bedside care is superb. Dr Oommen is an absolute blessing. God bless you doctor.
